For the Professional
If you are considering Hope Grows for your client’s eating or exercise disorder, the following are some important things to know:
-When you have a client you think might need our services, please call Erin Buck directly at 512-415-5182 to give us information about the client, and to have any questions answered.
-You can give the client our contact information and suggest they call us to have their questions answered, and to set up a time and date for a phone interview.
-We want your involvement with any clients you send to us. First, we would need to get release forms to be able to talk with you prior to the client’s admission. We provide the forms to the client.
-We encourage your involvement during your client’s stay at Hope Grows. We will call you and keep you up to date with your client’s progress, concerns, visits with other professionals, etc. You may also have phone sessions with your client during her stay.
-Our goal is to include you as part of her team. If you are having sessions with your client during her stay, you will be in regular contact with her therapist here. If you are not having sessions with your client during her stay, we will provide periodic updates and arrange for transition sessions with you prior to her discharge.
-Ultimately, we value the input of referring therapists, nutritionists, and treatment professionals who are involved in the individual’s recovery process.
-We may have a waiting list, so please check on the approximate wait for your client. It is typically best if you call ahead to check for availability for your client if you suspect that she may need it. That way, her wait will be limited.
